Daikin
EE
LockoutBus / internal
ComfortNet / Daikin One data dropped, or (on some dates) no 115 V / internal IFC fault. Stat English tells you which.
Walk EE in Diagnose
4 plates — walk the one on the cabinet
First check
1 Measure at the IFC under load
On Daikin DM80VC line-voltage codes are incoming power. Measure L1/L2 (or L1/N) at the board while it is trying to run, not just at the disconnect. Data pair polarity and splices. This is not 24 V Y.
Expect: Voltage in the rating-plate window under load.
The rest of the walkthrough is Diagnose.
On the plates
- Data pair polarity and splices. This is not 24 V Y.
- Only one communicating master. Leftover data wires landed on R/C after a 24V conversion.
- Door switch, disconnect, and 115 V at the IFC if the display is dark / EE on power-up.
- Data pair, one master, outdoor on the same bus.
- Same wiring rules as DM96VC — the valve type does not change the bus.
Plates that use EE
Same number, other makers
EE on Daikin is not the same code on these plates.
