Privacy Policy

FieldBench LLC (“we,” “us”) operates fieldbench.ai. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account info: when you sign in with Google or X, we receive your name, email or handle, and profile photo from that provider. We never see or store your Google/X password.

Usage data: pages viewed, models looked up, diagnostic sessions started, and similar activity, to keep the product working and improve it.

Billing data: if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. FieldBench does not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that under its own security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1).

Device/session data: basic technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifier) used for security, fraud prevention, and enforcing the one-device-per-account limit.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

Who we share data with

Only service providers who help us run FieldBench: Stripe (payments), our hosting/infrastructure provider, and OAuth providers (Google, X) for sign-in. Each handles your data under their own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep account and usage data as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after (up to 3 years) for legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes, consistent with California's Automatic Renewal Law recordkeeping requirement.

Your choices

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which removes your usage history. Because Google/X sign-in doesn't involve a FieldBench password, revoking FieldBench's access from your Google or X account settings also cuts off our access to new profile data.

California residents

FieldBench is a small business and does not currently meet the revenue or data-volume thresholds that trigger full CCPA/CPRA obligations. Even so, we don't sell your data, and you're welcome to email help@fieldbench.ai to ask what we have on file or to request deletion — we'll honor reasonable requests.

Children

FieldBench is not directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We'll post updates here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify subscribers by email.
