Igniter

120 VAC HSI. Kit includes 21D64-2 HotRod — required when the old igniter is 80 V.

Motor

PSC heat / cool / low-heat relays. Not 9-speed tap. Not serial VS.

Replace list

  • Virtually all White-Rodgers 50A50 / 50A55 / 50A56 / 50A65 / 50M56 / 50T35 / 50T55 single-stage HSI boards, using the labeled harness in the kit.
  • Carrier HK42FZ004, HK42FZ007, HK42FZ008, HK42FZ009, HK42FZ011, HK42FZ016 (kit list).
  • Many Goodman/Amana 50A55-289 / 50M56-289 class single-stage boards (E harness on the kit sheet).
  • Older Trane/American Standard and York/Coleman/Luxaire single-stage HSI that were a 50A5x / 50A65 cousin.

Will not replace

  • Carrier HK42FZ013, and any board with an 11-pin bar connector (WR says so on the kit sheet).
  • HK42FZ017 two-stage — that is ICM2807, not this kit.
  • Two-stage gas, dual pressure switches, 9-speed tap ECM, ComfortBridge / Infinity / Evolution / iComfort.

Field notes

  • Twelve Quick-Select harnesses (A–L). Use the letter on the cross-reference sheet — do not guess a plug.
  • If the old board has two green lights and no amber (date code 3294 or earlier, typical Rheem), the kit notes a flame-sensor add-on may be required.
  • ICM2812 is the board-only twin of this WR board. ICM2812-KIT is the harness kit (150–200 OEM SKUs).
