Motor

PSC circulator relay (14.5 FLA). Not a 9-speed tap driver. Not serial communicating VS.

Replace list

  • Most White-Rodgers 50A50 / 50A55 single-stage carbide modules (50A50-110/111/230/240/471/472, 50A55-143/286/288/438/571 and the rest of that 50A5x list on the carton).
  • Many older OEM boards that were themselves a 50A50/50A55 (some Trane/American Standard 50A55-143 class, some York/Coleman 50A55 cousins).

Will not replace

  • Nitride 80 V igniter systems — that is 50A65-843 (keep the igniter) or 50M56U-843 (kit includes 21D64-2 HotRod if you convert).
  • Two-stage gas valves / two-speed inducers / E8–E9 high-fire boards.
  • 9-speed tap ECM (AR9T96 / GR9T96 PCBBF132, AR9S96, GR9S96).
  • ComfortBridge, Infinity, Evolution, iComfort, ComfortLink, EcoNet, Daikin One.
  • Carrier HK42FZ013 (11-pin bar) and any communicating outdoor inverter PCB.

Field notes

  • Classic truck board. Read the silk on the dead board. If it is already a 50A50 or 50A55, this is the usual carton.
  • Set heat-off delay jumpers to match the door. Prove flame µA and a full ignition try before you leave.
  • A PSC heat/cool relay will not run a 9-speed tap motor or a serial VS blower. Wrong motor class = no heat or a limit trip.
