Manufacture date from the rating-plate serial. Same family as Bryant, Payne, Day & Night. A printed MFR date on the plate still wins.

Where the plate is
Furnace: inside the blower door. Outdoor: corner post or back panel. A printed manufacture date often sits under the serial — use that when it is there.
