- High-volume White-Rodgers and OEM single-stage nitride IFCs (50A65-xxx family) where the existing igniter stays.
- Jobs where 50A55-843 would force an igniter change you do not want.
Will not replace
- Carbide 120 V igniter systems — use 50A55-843.
- Two-stage, 9-speed tap, or any communicating IFC.
Field notes
- The point of this carton is keeping the 80 V nitride already in the burner box.
- If the igniter is already dead, 50M56U-843 + 21D64-2 HotRod is the other legal path — then you change both.
